Water deserves all respect

For sure, water is a practical ingredince when taking a comfortable shower, but also a necessity for all life on earth. As we are in the ‘water sector’ we have a sort of responsibility for this natural resource, as well as glass, aluminum and other materials in the products. Please read below about our active work to minimize our impact on the environment.

Environmental Profile

The introduction of an environmental management system has been a key feature of our environmental work. The environmental system of INR Sverige AB meets the requirements of Environmental Management Standard ISO 14001. 

Environmental Policy

At INR, we strive actively towards sustainable development by adhering to the following when creating our own shower solutions and selecting bathroom accessories:

• Dealing with chemicals and waste in accordance with the applicable legislation.
• Meeting our customers’ environmental requirements.
• Minimising our environmental impact by observing and following resource-saving measures.
• Striving to constantly improve the environmental properties of our products, by monitoring development and taking the choice of materials into consideration in construction and purchasing.

Nordic Ecolabel

Josephine has been Swan labelled (Nordic Ecolabel), which is one of the world’s most stringent eco-labels. It means that it is environmentally friendly, recyclable and stands for sustainable quality.  

Building product declaration

The building product declaration is part of the construction industry’s environmental responsibility, and involves making an effort to minimise materials wastage and left-over products, to re-use materials during demolition, and to halve landfill use.

This declaration has been drawn up in accordance with the Ecocycle Council’s recommendations for building product declarations (March 2007). Se each product for more information.
